The Art (All of it)
All of my pieces are weaved copper, zinc or stainless steel which I reclaim from job sites. I have specifically chosen to name thepieces as Opus (and the next even number, thus the name of the web site Numbers by Duce). The reason I don’t give a name to my art is to allow every individual who looks at my pieces the opportunity to continue the creative process and find anything and everything they would like. You will notice that some of the pieces have sub titles, these came from the owner of the piece. Some of my clients have insisted that they see a particular thing in the piece and therefore have given the piece a name. If you own one of my works and have a name for it I would love to add it to the web site so please let me know.
Many of the images below are linked to other pages in my web site which will give you more images of the art as well as the story of the piece. Some of these stories are very interesting and worth the read. I especially like the story of OpusFortySix: Tree of Living Water. This is the most unbelievable “Rags to Riches” Story and well worth reading.
I hope you enjoy looking through the creations I have made and would love to hear from you either by way of an email or just a comment on my site. Thanks for visiting and come back soon…things are always changing.
