There is not a lot of story to tell with this piece. Quite simply I do pieces from time to time just for me. The curved section of this piece was a scrap from a curved Fascia job Nielco did and I thought the shape would be fun to build a piece on. I did not make it this shape it came this shape and I cut the strips to create the weave. This study became the bassis of OpusSixty (Fire). It hang in my living room all through December I moved it to the Concept center when Jennifer Brassy of Prospector Lighting asked me to get a “long and narrow piece in the conference room. I found that the same piece hanging on this red wall was so much more exiting in it’s new home. Great suggestion Jenifer!
